WA Backup & Restore Messages (“the App”) is designed with privacy as a core principle. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when Ads, Analytics, and iCloud synchronization features are enabled.

The App does not require account registration and does not collect personal identifiers such as name, phone number, or message content.

2. Chat Data & iCloud Sync

Chat backups, exports, and restored files are processed only when explicitly requested by the user.

When iCloud Sync is enabled:

* Backup files may be stored securely in the user’s iCloud account

* Data is encrypted by Apple and governed by Apple’s iCloud Privacy Policy

* The developer does not have access to user iCloud data

Users may disable iCloud Sync at any time from device settings.

3. Advertising Services

The App may display advertisements using third-party ad networks.

Advertising services may collect limited device-level information, such as:

* Device type and OS version

* App interaction data

* Advertising identifier (IDFA), only if user consent is granted

Ads are shown in compliance with Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT framework.

If permission is denied, ads may be non-personalized.

4. Analytics & App Performance

The App may use analytics tools to understand app performance and improve stability.

Analytics data may include:

* App usage events (screens viewed, feature usage)

* Crash reports and diagnostics

Analytics data is aggregated, non-personal, and not linked to user identity.

* iCloud synchronization (handled by Apple)

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13.

* Disable iCloud Sync

* Reset or limit ad tracking

* Opt out of personalized ads

* Delete backups at any time

* Uninstall the App to remove local data
